Smita gifts film to ‘Money Hai Toh…’ director

Social activist and producer Smita Thackeray is so impressed with Ganesh Acharya’s ‘Money Hai Toh Honey Hai’, that she immediately called him up and expressed a desire to make a film with him.

Unable to contain his happiness at having bagged a Smita Thackeray film, Ganesh wasted no time in narrating a couple of scripts that he had in hand and Smita chose a comedy thriller that carries a social message.

The cast is yet to be finalized. However, both the producer and the director are happy and excited about the project and also at the prospect of working with each other.

Hansika Bedridden

Stress has taken its toll on Hansika Motwani. Just on the eve of her big release Ganesh Acharya’s ‘Money Hai Toh Honey Hai’, the actor has fallen ill and has been advised complete bed rest. And all this happened only because Hansika has been the one (other than Manoj and Upen who have done their wee bit) running from pillar to post promoting her film. She has been part of the film’s promotions on four reality shows on various TV channels. “As a few cast members are not promoting the film, I felt I had to do my bit,” Hansika was quoted as saying to a popular tabloid. All this activity affected her so badly that she is suffering from a severe bout of viral fever. “It was all for the film, so it was okay to go the extra mile,” she said.

In the film, ‘Money Hai Toh Honey Hai’ Hansika plays the small screen’s most famous daughter-in-law who longs for a break in Bollywood.
